Biography
Tyler is a Data Engineer Consultant at Compass Analytics. Tyler brings experience from the pharmaceutical industry to Compass where he led data migration from on-premise to the AWS cloud. His work resulted in significant cost reductions in maintenance and manual work. He was also responsible for creating new outlier detection logic, maintaining manufacturing process parameters and developing dashboards.
Tyler has experience working in Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku, PowerBI, QlikSense, and Git. Tyler is based in Toronto, Ontario. He is a 2023 Master of Management Analytics graduate from McGill University. Outside of work, golf is an instrumental part of Tyler's life. He used to play with Team Ontario from 2014 to 2017, and is currently an instructor now for up and coming students.

His technical expertise spans across Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Streamlit, Python, Snowflake and Databricks to name a few. He has successfully transitioned organizations to advanced analytics platforms, unlocking significant insights and reducing time to analysis.
Based in Montreal, Emery holds a Master of Management in Analytics from McGill University. Outside of work, Emery is passionate about sports, particularly running, hiking and rock climbing, you can usually see him at the climbing gym testing some new routes, or kicking back with some friends.

Julien Hovan is a Data Engineer at Compass Analytics, leveraging his web development background and expertise in data science and machine learning to build scalable data solutions.
He holds a B.Sc. in Computational Biology from McGill and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Data Science at the University of Michigan. Skilled in Python, SQL, and big data frameworks, he tackles complex data challenges with ease.
Outside of work, Julien is an avid chess player, enjoys skiing, stays up to date with AI research, and works on programming side projects.
