William is the CEO and Founding Partner of Compass Analytics. With 10+ years of experience helping enterprises drive value with analytics, William has worked in the airline, pharmaceutical, and higher education industries, where he’s built analytical solutions that have generated and saved millions of dollars for organizations.
Based in Montréal, William earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Business Technology Management and Data Intelligence at Concordia University and his Master of Management in Analytics from Queen’s University. Outside of work, he loves to travel with his fiancée Melissa and often tries out different airlines and cuisines worldwide.

Scott is the Managing Partner of Compass Analytics. With a proven track record of creating real organizational change through digital and data transformations, Scott specializes in data strategy development, execution, and change management – all required for analytics transformation success. Scott brings a unique and practical perspective to the table with 8+ years of data analytics experience across various industries, from consulting and CPG to retail and pharmaceuticals.
Based in Montréal, Scott earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Data Intelligence from Concordia University. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer, traveler, and loves to spend time walking up Mount Royal.

Scott Carr

Biography
Tyler is a Data Engineer Consultant at Compass Analytics. Tyler brings experience from the pharmaceutical industry to Compass where he led data migration from on-premise to the AWS cloud. His work resulted in significant cost reductions in maintenance and manual work. He was also responsible for creating new outlier detection logic, maintaining manufacturing process parameters and developing dashboards.
Tyler has experience working in Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku, PowerBI, QlikSense, and Git. Tyler is based in Toronto, Ontario. He is a 2023 Master of Management Analytics graduate from McGill University. Outside of work, golf is an instrumental part of Tyler's life. He used to play with Team Ontario from 2014 to 2017, and is currently an instructor now for up and coming students.

Emery Dittmer is an Analytics Manager and Project Scrum Master at Compass Analytics. Emery brings close to a decade of experience with a proven track record in leading data-driven projects that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. He specializes in project management, data strategy, business intelligence, and data science. His technical expertise spans across Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Streamlit, Python, Snowflake and Databricks to name a few. He has successfully transitioned organizations to advanced analytics platforms, unlocking significant insights and reducing time to analysis.
Based in Montreal, Emery holds a Master of Management in Analytics from McGill University. Outside of work, Emery is passionate about sports, particularly running, hiking and rock climbing, you can usually see him at the climbing gym testing some new routes, or kicking back with some friends.
